Maintenance Officer

This role is responsible for ensuring the School's facilities and grounds are well-maintained and safe for use.

  • The Maintenance Officer will follow routine and non-routine maintenance schedules, assist with inspections, and conduct preventative maintenance tasks.
  • They will oversee water quality management at the Aquatic Centre, monitor the School's water systems, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Additionally, they will maintain the cleanliness of the School, manage outdoor furniture upkeep, and address urgent maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a current driver's license and obtain relevant certifications (Pool Plant Operator's certificate and Construction White Card).
  • Outline knowledge or experience with swimming pool operations, water treatment, general maintenance, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Provide examples of procurement processes, including ordering, stock control, and safe storage practices.
  • Highlight experience managing maintenance records, adhering to maintenance schedules, and using a computer-aided maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Demonstrate physical fitness and the ability to work independently and within a team.
