Job Title: Principal Specialist Advisor

The Role

  • An experienced compliance professional who has supported quality and safeguarding programs in a NDIS or similar context across a service delivery organisation.
  • Effective at collaborating to build compliance & risk management policies, procedures and practices that are fit for purpose and demonstrate impact and value to an organisation.
  • Pasionate about leading and engaging others to enhance Quality & Safeguarding in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Quality & Safeguarding system (eg policies, procedures, instructions) to ensure the organisation meets its risk and compliance management framework obligations (with a key focus on NDIS Quality and Safeguarding requirements).
  • Work with key leaders and lead development and maintenance of the organisation's risk identification and management systems.
  • Establish learning and development initiatives and systems to train and educate staff to understand organisational risk and compliance obligations and deliver high quality services to residents.

Accountabilities Include:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the risk management and compliance function.
  • Establish training and development programs to support staff.

About Us:

We are a disability service provider with over 3000 residents and a portfolio of properties valued at around $1B. We provide stable and secure homes for people with significant disabilities and workplaces for Supported Independent Living providers.

This position will drive compliance activities, awareness and risk management across our organisation to support high quality service provision.
