We are seeking a Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Position Details

  • Temporary Full Time (38 hours per week) up to February 2027 with the possibility of ongoing employment

    Position Classification: Registered Midwife

    Remuneration: $51.08 per hour + annual leave loading + Superannuation

    Location: Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

    The Registered Midwife is responsible for providing woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. This includes assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

    Requirements

    • Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
    • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
    • Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and NSW Health Core Values
    • Able to demonstrate commitment to working as part of a team and a high degree of autonomy

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care
    • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
