  • Seeking a senior ICT professional to contribute to the growth and success of our technology group in Australia.
  • Provide ICT design support for offices and projects across Australia, including the design of active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, audio-visual services, etc.
  • Prepare technical documents for planning, preparation of specifications and drawings, tendering, and providing construction service support, including testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain strong customer relationships for the execution of projects and participate in business development.
  2. Support other project engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management, and overall client satisfaction.
  3. Provide support and mentoring to junior staff members.
  4. Support clients and internal customers on technical queries.

Qualifications and Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc.
  • Customer focus, providing bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of structured cabling systems, backbone fibre & copper, MATV/IPTV systems, DAS, ICN - integrated communications network, IP telephony systems, active networks, wireless design, digital signage, large-scale AV systems, data centres, defence ICT design.
  • Knowledge of security systems, both physical and cyber, is beneficial but not essential.
  • RCDD, CCNA, or CISSP certifications are considered assets.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZS, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain, with Australian citizenship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to innovate based on customer and industry requirements; positive, can-do attitude; ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
