**Electoral Integrity Role**

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) maintains an impartial and independent electoral system. Our focus is on delivering quality, agility, and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the Temporary Election Workforce (TEW) Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the direction and plans in line with immediate and long-term agency requirements and priorities.

The role oversees the end-to-end administration and management of matters related to our employment systems, operation of the helpdesk, continuous improvement and modernisation of service delivery systems and processes, and engagement with key stakeholders.

  • Develop capabilities and encourage career progression while promoting AEC values.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships across a geographically dispersed network, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operate within a dynamic environment, responding to pressure and change in an agile manner.
  • Use judgement and make complex decisions within established frameworks.

**Eligibility Requirements**

  • Must be an Australian citizen.
  • Applicants must undergo, obtain, and maintain a character clearance.
  • Applicants may be required to undertake psychometric assessment.
