About the Election Programme

A high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing and delivering a large-scale election programme.

  • Drive strategic planning and performance across the elections team.

Support the democratic process by playing a key role in delivering the New South Wales State election.

About the Role

This newly created position is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing NSW Electoral Commission's election specific programmes.

You will lead, mentor and manage a team of professionals through the end-to-end process of delivering the election.

Provide expert advice and build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring high-quality governance, compliance and practices in line with the NSW Electoral Commission's methodology and framework.

The NSW Electoral Commission delivers trusted systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales.

  • Running and regulating elections.
  • Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key stakeholders and participants.
  • Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral laws.
Key Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex programmes with large budgets.
  • In-depth understanding of project management disciplines.
  • Experience working within an EPMO or PMO providing services to organisation-wide programmes.
  • Collaborative and confident communicator who can facilitate workshops to achieve outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Satisfactory background check result.
  • No affiliations that could undermine political impartiality.
