We are seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to lead a team of security officers at a prestigious university campus in Melbourne's north-east.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of security across the university campus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing on-site leadership, guidance, and support to security officers during shifts.
  • Assisting the Contract Manager with administrative and operational tasks as required.
  • Supervising control room activities, ensuring effective monitoring of CCTV, access control, alarms, and campus communications.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
  • Ensuring compliance with university policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Liaising with university staff, emergency services, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents, patrols, and shift activities.
  • Supporting training and performance of new and existing security staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior supervisory experience within the security industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A thorough understanding of control room operations and emergency response.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • A valid Victorian Security licence with the control room subcategory.
  • A Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
  • A valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
  • A Working with children check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
