ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Seafreight Import Operator to become an integral part of our cohesive team. This position involves utilizing TradeWindow software and managing all facets of import operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver timely status updates to a designated client portfolio.

• Input import sea files into our operating systems, coordinating sea/air cargo and under bonds.

• Proactively follow up on outstanding documents from shippers, agents, and local clients.

• Organize cartage with transport providers as necessary.

• Ensure that shipment files are submitted to Customs for timely clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a freight forwarding environment.

• Proven experience in direct client interactions.

• Familiarity with a collaborative team setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of the import process from order to cartage/invoice.

• Knowledge of TradeWindow or Cyberfreight systems.
