We're seeking a skilled Senior Investment Risk Analytics Specialist to join our Data, Technology, and Delivery (DTD) business unit. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in planning and preparing the organisation for the future through strategic technology innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, managing stakeholders, analysing and modelling business systems, processes, and user needs. You'll also ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility.

As a Senior Investment Risk Analytics Specialist, you'll work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third Party members within the product/platform/project team to develop a fit-for-purpose solution. Your expertise in Investments Risk Analytics subjects, systems, and front office needs will be invaluable in supporting our multi-asset owner/manager investment teams.

You'll have a proven history of working with superannuation investment operating models and an understanding of investment asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, and/or Private Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document requirements to support functional, technical, and process change in an Investment Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, vendors, and Custodian teams to define the solution approach and identify solution components.
  • Support the Product Owner in product backlog refinement and participate in user acceptance testing activities.
  • Contribute to the creation of user guides and training materials as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Mathematics.

IIBA or similar industry standard certification preferred.

Proven experience in Business Analysis, Investments Risk Analytics, and superannuation investment operating models.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels and foster collaborative working relationships.

Demonstrated experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems and meet deadlines while prioritising workloads.

A salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working, purchase leave scheme, and super contribution continuation for 12 months of parental leave.
