Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Finance Specialist to join our team at FourQuarters Recruitment. As a key member of our investment finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and due diligence on commercial business investments.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and Finance Director - Funds and will be responsible for ensuring that investee companies comply with statutory obligations, including GST, income tax, payroll, superannuation, and other relevant laws.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing and monitoring the financial control and risk management framework of investee companies, making recommendations for process and system improvements as needed.
  • An additional responsibility will be to assist origination and portfolio teams with financial due diligence during equity investment transactions, as well as ongoing monitoring and valuation of investments.
  • This role may also involve assisting the Fund Accounting Team with audit and statutory accounting processes related to Fund equity investments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure investee companies comply with statutory obligations and maintain robust financial control and risk management frameworks.
  • Due Diligence: Assist origination and portfolio teams with financial due diligence during equity investment transactions.
  • Investment Monitoring: Monitor and value investments for Funds.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist Fund Accounting Team with audit and statutory accounting processes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in investment finance or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
