Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking two highly motivated and talented researchers to join our team as postdoctoral researchers under a joint UNSW-ANU-GFDL ARC Discovery Project.

Our research focuses on understanding the processes driving warm water intrusions onto the Antarctic continental shelf. We aim to explore the dynamics of these events and their impact on the Southern Ocean ecosystem.

Locations and Duration

The positions will be based at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. Both appointments are funded initially for two years, with strong potential for an extension into a third year.

Team Collaboration

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, including Prof Matthew England, Prof Andy Hogg, Dr Paul Spence, Dr Adele Morrison, and Dr Stephen Griffies. This collaboration will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills, share knowledge, and contribute to cutting-edge research.
