Flinders And Upper North Local Health Network invites applications for a Senior Occupational Therapy Specialist position.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in a multidisciplinary setting, enhancing the quality and safety of mental health services, particularly focusing on subacute care. They will serve as a mentor and supervisor, providing guidance and professional support to occupational therapy professionals and students.
About the Role:
- This full-time role requires a seasoned and highly skilled clinician with advanced reflective-practice skills, capable of adopting new techniques and utilizing in-depth understanding of LHN goals and operations to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
- The Clinical Senior OT will lead by example in maintaining high clinical standards and practices within the LHN MH, holding portfolios that drive expertise development and service enhancements in Occupational Therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver complex clinical and consultancy services as a Rural Generalist or within a specific discipline in the LHN Mental Health sector.
- Manage diverse responsibilities effectively, utilizing in-depth understanding of LHN goals and operations.
- Hold portfolios that drive expertise development and service enhancements in Occupational Therapy.
What You Need:
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and eligibility for full registration as an Occupational Therapist within Australia.
- Clinical competence and advanced reflective-practice skills.
- In-depth understanding of LHN goals and operations.
Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $104,180 - $111,746 p.a
- In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).
- Financial assistance for relocation may be available for eligible applicants.
- Accommodation support may be available.
- Scholarships may be available to undertake a Certificate of Rural General Practice/Graduate Diploma of Rural Generalist Practice via the Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway (AHRGP) Rural Generalist Program.
