About the Opportunity
At Dental Corporation, we're seeking an Occupational Therapy Consultant to support our Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Health Services team. You'll be working in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high-quality clinical advice and assisting business areas with clinical treatment appropriateness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide internal escalation for Occupational Therapy clinical advice.
- Advise DVA business areas on clinical treatment appropriateness, including aids and appliances within the DVA health entitlements regime.
- Offer specialized clinical, business, and policy advice to DVA policy and programs staff.
- Support program and provider audit/reviews under an agreed assurance framework.
- Liaise with external providers regarding services under an agreed procedural framework.
About You
We're looking for experienced Occupational Therapists who want to move into a role without direct patient contact. Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of current clinical experience, strong critical analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated sensitivity and judgement.
Salary Range:$85,000 - $115,000 per annum
