As an Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker, you will play a vital role in creating safe and loving homes for families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work sensitively and respectfully with families, children, and young people
  • Collaborate with other agencies and solve complex problems
  • Help families set goals, address safety concerns, and provide home visits
  • Develop safety plans and conduct risk assessments
  • Manage cases involving high needs and risks
  • Participate in court processes, including document preparation and court attendance
  • Engage in supervision and team meetings

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires tough decisions to help families create safe and loving environments.

What We're Looking For:
  • A confident and resilient individual with strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • A relevant diploma or degree (preferred) or at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Valid driver's license and paid working with children clearance
  • Verification of Aboriginality through either a Confirmation of Aboriginality form or written confirmation from 2-3 Aboriginal organizations
