Key Responsibilities:- Develop individualised treatment plans prioritising trauma-informed care and community support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and external service providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Advocate for Aboriginal youth facing socio-cultural, economic and health challenges
This role is part of a team focusing on specialised mental health care for young people aged 12-24 in Western Sydney. The team delivers evidence-based interventions including treatment for psychosis, mood disorders and anxiety.
About You:We are seeking an experienced clinician with expertise in Aboriginal intergenerational trauma and social and emotional wellbeing. You will have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal young people with mental illness and relevant tertiary education/qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or Occupational Therapy.
