As a Highway Beer Distribution Specialist at our client in Abbotsford, you will play a crucial role in the timely and secure delivery of premium beer products throughout Australia. Our company develops, produces, and installs beer tank systems, and we're seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our distribution and transport team.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm, with one week of evening shift training. If you have a valid Australian Heavy Rigid Driver's License, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional service, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role
  • Drive the Heavy Rigid Truck on designated runs, covering multiple venues each day, including Geelong, Traralgon, City, Melbourne Metro Suburbs, and more.
  • Clean-in-place and fill the Tank Beer in Truck at the Brewery site, ensuring accurate and efficient processes.
  • Assemble and disassemble hoses for bulk beer delivery, guaranteeing proper connections and minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct regular checks on hoses for wear and tear, replacing them as needed to maintain optimal performance.
  • Complete filling processes at restaurants, bars, pubs, and other venues, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Utilize modern technology, including tablets and CDU systems, to record data accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on all vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
  • Unload beer hoses and filtration equipment safely and correctly, requiring the ability to lift 15kg.
  • Accurately record all data into the system to guarantee product counts are precise.
  • Document daily driver logs, KPI logs, pre-start checklists, and site assessments to maintain high levels of accountability.
  • Represent our company as a professional, friendly, and customer-focused driver, contributing to its fresh, forward-thinking image.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a Victorian (or Australian Certified) Heavy Rigid Driver's License.
  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Heavy Rigid Trucks.
  • Be able to lift and move heavy loads, including beer hoses (15kg).
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
  • Show a strong mechanical aptitude or possess an engineering background.
  • Comfortably use modern technology, such as tablets or CDU systems, for recording and reporting.
  • Proficiency in planning efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity.
  • Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a positive, outgoing attitude.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral.
  • Capacity to adhere to timeframes and deadlines.
