Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team.

  • Lead on tenders, planning and scheduling of construction activities.
  • Manage site project teams and ensure quality assurance, cost and time management.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • 7–15+ years' experience managing civil construction projects with values ranging from $5m to $40m+
  • Proven understanding of construction processes, hands-on approach, and ability to effectively lead and delegate.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, conflict resolution abilities, and high level of organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Types of projects include demolition, excavation, cut and fill, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities also include coordinating internal and external resources, business development, recruitment, and mentoring of teams.

Our client is a well-established civil contractor providing services across various industry sectors.

Typical values range from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $30m+, with multiple concurrent projects to be managed.
