Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the delivery of our civil construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and be able to effectively manage site teams, resources, and stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, scheduling, and cost management, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide leadership and guidance to site personnel.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Plan and schedule construction activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage and control costs to achieve budget targets.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and manage their expectations.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field and 5-15+ years' experience in project management on civil construction projects. They will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
