Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Community Halls Operations Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our community halls, providing administrative support, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee venue procedures, including opening/closing, room setup, and cleaning/resetting for events.
  • Manage correspondence and customer requests relating to hall operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality customer services.
  • Support service improvements by identifying areas for growth and implementing changes.
  • Navigate Council's booking system and other resources to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will also have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively with others.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with online booking systems, particularly Council's Bookable program.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
