About the opportunity:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and their families who are experiencing housing challenges. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to empower clients to secure and maintain safe, stable, and sustainable housing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering personalized case management plans to address clients' unique needs and goals
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients, community agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify and respond to emerging trends and needs in the housing sector
  • Providing guidance and support to clients on navigating the rental market, accessing public, social, and community housing options, and sustaining tenancies

Requirements:

Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Health Sciences (or equivalent) and possess experience working in housing and homelessness services. A strong understanding of relevant policies, support frameworks, and community resources is essential.

Knowledge of the ADF environment and its unique sensitivities would be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality services that prioritize client-centered care.
