Job Title

A technical specialist is needed to drive improvement and excellence in operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing culture that focuses on serving customers, pursuing perfection, and empowering people.

About The Role
  • Enable a high-performing improvement culture at all levels within the operation, focusing coaching activities at frontline to superintendent level (L1-L3).
  • Assist site leaders with the identification, prioritization, problem-solving, and implementation of frontline improvement and prioritized Kaizen/site breakthrough initiatives at L3 (departmental level).
  • Assist site management in monitoring and building BOS capability across the site, identifying local training needs, and conducting presentations, workshops, and training using storytelling to connect, influence, and engage the audience.
About You
  • Prior experience as a leader or technical professional is required.
  • Exposure to rail, mining, maintenance, or processing is ideal but experience in other industries that utilize an operating system founded on operational excellence principles would be highly regarded.
  • Understanding/exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and organizational change is necessary.
  • Strong skills in driving improvement, empowering others, coaching, and communication are required.
