Sales Director for Construction Equipment Territory

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve maximum face-to-face time with customers and future customers.

A key member of our sales team will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve maximum face-to-face time with customers and future customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B selling and practical working knowledge of construction equipment. You will understand your market, specifically Brisbane and surrounding areas, and have the ability to adapt as it grows.

A positive drive, energy, and autonomy, with a 'can-do' attitude to make it all come together is essential. You will be willing to go the distance to deliver excellence to customers while achieving a win-win for the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing sales and territory plans to maximize face-to-face time with customers and future customers
  • Achieving sales targets by reviewing market conditions and market shares, and forecasting
  • Building positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and industry representatives
  • Delivering new construction equipment to customers, ensuring effective delivery, familiarization, and handover of equipment
  • Coaching/mentoring sales team members to understand and promote products

Requirements:

Experience in B2B selling and practical working knowledge of construction equipment. Volvo CE highly regarded.

Ability to understand market trends and adapt to change.

Positive drive, energy, and autonomy, with a 'can-do' attitude.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Current driver's licence (MC or HR) and flexibility to travel to visit customers.
