Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Operations Director to oversee logistics operations and drive excellence at our warehouse site. This critical role is responsible for delivering high-quality logistics services to customers, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of logistics services for all contracted customers.
  • Set performance targets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage site profitability and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maximise warehouse capacity and utilisation.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and develop team capability.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, financial, and operational controls.
  • Analyse site P&L and initiate corrective actions where needed.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and high-performance ethos.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' management experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry.
  • A proven track record in managing large warehouse operations.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and influence positive change.
