About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Manager to join our team at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for the management and distribution of banquet event orders to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure event specifications are met according to Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts standards.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including setup, registration, and teardown.
  • Monitor and control event budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or events.
  • Venue experience is an advantage.
  • Proven success in large-scale event coordination and planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Immaculate presentation and professionalism.
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent time management and administration skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage.
