We are seeking an experienced Events and Communications Coordinator to join our team at the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and coordination of a range of events and communications activities for ACCI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination and administration of ACCI events, including liaising with venues and suppliers, managing event logistics, and working with service providers.
  • End-to-end event coordination and event attendee administration, including maintaining and updating guest lists, sending invitations, managing RSVPs, and printing name badges.
  • Providing high-quality customer service to members and colleagues before and during events.
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate records of event and communications activities, including participation lists, budgets, and feedback.
  • Assisting the policy team with events and campaign activities.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Events Manager and the Media and Communications Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in event coordination or communications, with experience in a membership-based organization being a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
