Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

A comprehensive approach to workplace rehabilitation is crucial for minimizing the impact of injuries and illnesses.
- We work closely with employers and employees to prevent injuries, promote healthy work environments, and facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.
As a vocational rehabilitation specialist, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule, work location, and client load.
- You will focus on achieving effective outcomes for your clients through various methods, including teleconferences, employer visits, worksite meetings, and client consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough vocational assessments in both face-to-face and virtual settings.
- Supporting clients in achieving their return-to-work goals.
- Providing non-claims related psychological support to corporate and government clients.
- Managing complex psychological cases using evidence-based psychosocial risk tools.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Registration and membership with ASORC and APHRA/AASW.
- CURRENT NATIONAL CRIMINAL CHECK prior to commencing employment.
- WWCC (Working with children check).
- Australian working rights.
- Full drivers' license, vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
