Lead Risk Outcomes Transformation

This role is pivotal in shaping the future of risk management. You will be part of a team that drives meaningful change by embedding smarter, more sustainable business practices.

This includes ensuring better risk outcomes through innovation and automation. The team is reimagining how we manage risk – using data, technology, and continuous assurance to build a stronger, more resilient bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement automated controls that improve risk and compliance outcomes across Retail Banking Services (RBS).
  • Ensure new and evolving processes are underpinned by robust automated controls, thereby supporting change initiatives.
  • Lead continuous assurance efforts, helping to embed a proactive, data-driven approach to risk management.
  • Conduct and manage Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including test script development and reporting on findings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automated/application control testing or IT general controls, with a strong operational risk mindset.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a knack for using data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and implementation testing.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • A strategic thinker who can identify risks and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Leadership capability and a collaborative, professional approach.
