About the Job

Join our team as a Senior Manager in the 2nd Line Assurance team. You'll provide oversight, insight, and challenge to ensure effective governance and risk management.

  • You'll lead assurance reviews across Westpac's largest transformation program – UNITE.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive effective governance and risk oversight.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and reporting to risk committees and executive forums.
The Role Plays a Key Part

This role plays a key part in delivering assurance reviews across large-scale transformation programs, with a strong focus on UNITE.

UNITE is our business-led, tech-enabled transformation, and a key priority for the Group. It aims to deliver 'one best way' to make processes, systems, and technology simpler, providing a better experience for customers and making things easier for employees.

This is a Permanent fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in project assurance, internal audit, and/or project risk in change.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile) and related tools.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across complex programs.
  • Experience producing and presenting insightful reporting to risk committees and governance forums.
  • Skills in data-driven analysis using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Copilot.
  • A proactive, outcomes-driven mindset with strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
