Technical Solution Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Solution Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Understand customer requirements and objectives, and communicate and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of our products and teach customers about technology and innovation.
  • Participate in strategic account and regional sales planning processes.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly orders forecasts and sales goals.
  • Collect and analyze industry, competitor, and customer trends for the greater organization.
  • Collaborate to resolve customer feedbacks and product issues.
  • Liaise between customers, contracts & risk, and accounts receivable to facilitate commercial relationships.
  • Lead price and commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Utilize business tools to maintain customer relationship information, opportunity tracking, and sales activities.
  • Lead improvements in marketing, sales, and engineering quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience).
  • 7 or more years of experience in an electrical engineering or technical sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success growing sales in a territory.
  • Strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ability to travel, effective communication skills, and ability to learn new skills.
  • Fluent in local language and business practices, background check results satisfactory to the employer, and negative drug test result(s).

  • Experience using our products.
  • Utility and Industrial industry experience.
