As a Front Office Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. Your expertise in hotel property management systems, Opera Cloud preferred, will help you efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the Reception desk. You'll be responsible for greeting and registering owners and guests, providing information on local area attractions, and managing any guest issues that may arise. Your exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening, will enable you to build strong relationships with our guests and team members. If you're a detail-focused individual with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk
* Greet and register owners and guests
* Provide information on local area attractions
* Manage guest issues that may arise
* Build, develop, train, and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level
* Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera Cloud preferred
* Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening
* Detail focused with an organised approach and ability to multitask
* Positive attitude, vibrant and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
* Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
* Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications
* Bookkeeping /finance experience is highly regarded
* Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
* Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods
