About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Strategist to join our team at TikTok. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in optimizing our workforce and driving business growth.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve resource allocation, reduce costs, and increase efficiency across multiple teams and business areas. They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex business needs, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough business needs analysis to anticipate and prepare for workload variations
  • Lead the evaluation of complex business plans to ensure strategic alignment and compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards
  • Employ advanced data analysis techniques to inform planning decisions and support the formulation of strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Budget & Workforce teams, and other key stakeholders to develop integrated business strategies and planning initiatives
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Management, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an analytical role, including business/financial/data analysis, market/industry research, etc.
  • Proven experience in large-scale capacity planning and resource allocation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
