About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our Strategic Demand Planning team based at Docklands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a robust, assumption-based 24-month forecast that enables visibility of long-term demand to operations and provides a financial forecast to drive the delivery of annual targets.

You will work across our Bega Group portfolio, which includes Vegemite, Peanut Butter, Cheese Spreads, and Zoosh Dips. Your analysis and insights will help improve forecast accuracy and support business KPIs, including DIF, minimizing waste, and write-offs.

This role acts as a key liaison between the Commercial Sales/Category/Finance functions and the Supply and Operations functions, facilitating the flow of relevant information between parties to ensure change requirements are understood.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics.
  • Maintain demand planning systems to create accurate demand forecasts that incorporate insights and trends.
  • Use Demand KPIs for root cause analysis and to drive improvements in accuracy and bias.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and be keen to develop better ways of working through teamwork.
