Assistant Director Social Media

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director Social Media to join our team at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead the development of our social media strategy, creating engaging content and managing our online presence to effectively communicate with our audiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engagement
- Manage and create high-quality content for our social media channels, including text, images, and videos
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform future content and engagement strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with our corporate plan objectives
- Scanning and interpreting a complex government and digital marketing landscape to identify and mitigate reputational risks associated with Media, Marketing and Digital Communications activities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Exceptional team leadership and collaboration skills
- Experience running social media channels for government or national brands
- Strong knowledge of social media analytics and paid social campaign experience
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
