Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at NSW Health. As an HR Generalist, you will provide generalist Human Resources advice and consultancy services to a designated Health Facility and/or District wide Directorate or Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support in one or more human resources or related functional areas.
- Exercise judgment and discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Prepare drafts and final formatting of correspondence such as letters, briefs, reports, and presentations.
- Prioritize work to meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable.
- Use human resource information systems and records management systems.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources/Human Capital Management.
- Demonstrated familiarity with, and ability to attain a sound understanding of legislative requirements, organisational policy, and procedures associated with the management of a contemporary people and culture service area.
- Strong customer service focus, along with high-level interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
