About the Position

Key Role: Senior Communications Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and driven professional to lead strategic communications initiatives across Western Australia, ensuring alignment with our national priorities and growth pipeline.

This autonomous role requires a balance of strategic communications and hands-on delivery. You will partner closely with senior leaders, project teams, and clients to deliver high-impact communications that strengthen our reputation and align with our business objectives.

As part of our National Communications Team, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Developing and implementing strategic communications plans that drive results and enhance our brand image.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, project teams, and clients.
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams, enabling them to deliver high-quality communications that meet our standards.
  • Sourcing and crafting compelling stories that showcase our projects, people, and culture across all channels.
  • Delivering local events and initiatives that drive engagement and contribute to national programs.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas that enhance our brand and impact.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar communications role, ideally within civil construction, professional services, or engineering.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, challenge existing approaches, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Strategic capability to provide guidance and support, while ensuring delivery standards remain high.
  • Exceptional writing and content creation skills, underpinned by a strategic mindset - able to craft clear, compelling messages that influence and inspire.
  • Robust project management skills, initiative, and the drive to elevate communications across WA.
