Executive Director - Strategic Financial Leadership

About the Role:

The Executive Director - Finance and Commercial Services Branch is responsible for delivering strategic financial objectives to ensure high standards of governance and risk management. This includes monitoring and enhancing accounting practices, standards, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning and budget allocation
  • Commercial services development and implementation
  • Chief Finance Officer role as prescribed in the Financial Management Act 2006
  • CORPORATE GOVERNANCE REQUIREMENTS AND RISK MANAGEMENT STANDARDS
  • EFFECTIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH KEY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS

About You:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director with a strong background in finance and commercial services. The successful candidate will lead the Department's strategic financial objectives through the development, implementation, and monitoring of business needs and initiatives.

  • Proven experience in financial planning and budget allocation
  • Strong commercial services development and implementation skills
