About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Leader to lead a team delivering a portfolio of digital projects for our government client in the Northern Territory. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing feasibility studies, business cases, and providing quality oversight and leadership of existing projects.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project management with strong governance, planning, and control skills. You will also have excellent stakeholder management experience and be able to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders across business areas, functions, and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team delivering a portfolio of digital projects including project managers, coordinators, business analysts, and subject matter experts.
  • Develop and quality assure feasibility studies, business cases, and project plans.
  • Ensure initiatives are effectively assessed through engagement of appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans to ensure they reflect any changes as projects progress.
  • Produce accurate, succinct, and high-quality reports on project progress.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in project management with emphasis on strong governance, planning, and control.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience with ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills with experience in end-to-end delivery of complex business system projects.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
