About the Role:

Cloudstreet Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Project Director/Lead to join our team as a contractor for the Northern Territory Government on a transformational project focused on modernizing education management across the Northern Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, oversight, and delivery of this complex, high-value transformation project, ensuring alignment with agreed business outcomes.

Project Overview:

The Education Management Transformation Program (EMTP) aims to implement advanced education management technologies, enabling seamless data capture, sharing, analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and tight deadlines, demonstrating self-discipline, resilience, and a proactive approach to achieving goals. The role involves overseeing and coordinating a cross-functional project team across multiple streams, ensuring solutions are human-centered and meet stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, oversight, and delivery of the EMTP, ensuring alignment with agreed business outcomes.
  • Manage the project lifecycle, from solution requirements and procurement to configuration, delivery, and implementation.
  • Oversee and coordinate a cross-functional project team across multiple streams, ensuring solutions are human-centered and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts, ensuring solutions are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Inspire and guide teams to achieve exceptional results, delivering impactful change through strategic direction and effective communication.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a strategic, resilient professional with a strong background in project management and leadership within complex environments. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, proactive, and possess a strong drive to lead a meaningful transformation in NT education. Prior experience working in and/or knowledge of the Education sector is desirable. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high personal drive, a positive attitude, and a strong ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds. The role requires a high level of integrity, transparency, and accountability, as well as excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
