Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate product costs and providing essential pricing and costing analysis to support business opportunities and decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product costs by analyzing cost structures and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to ensure master database accuracy and provide valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and analyze annual product budgets, taking into account market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Design and implement efficient cost-reduction initiatives to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software such as SAP or Oracle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • Experience with cost accounting software and tools.
