Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Transformation Communications Lead to join our CDAO Transformation and Change Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will support the Data Platform Domain and Data Platform transformation, enhancing how CommBank stakeholders unlock the value of data.

  • Develop a multi-layered communication strategy and schedule using various tactics and channels to facilitate the transition to new working methods.
  • Design brand architecture, including look, feel, tone, and manner.
  • Lead the development of communication tools and artefacts, such as strategic, tactical, and operational plans.
  • Serve as a change practitioner, providing tailored change communication and guiding stakeholder messages.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of communication using metrics and data.
  • Collaborate with other CDAO CoE Communication Leads to connect and aggregate messaging for all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Chapter Lead – Change, Data Transformation, to develop and implement a communication strategy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in data transformation and/or technology projects to understand impacts and business drivers.
  • Advanced knowledge of traditional and new communication and engagement methods.
  • Thought leadership and innovative approach, with a willingness to try new tactics and methods.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical messages.
  • Ability to transition between strategy and execution.
  • A curious mindset and consultative style.
  • Strong organisational skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • Good understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
