Disaster Resilience Leader

We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team as Manager, Disaster Adaptation Plan Coordination. This high-impact role will lead complex planning initiatives that strengthen disaster resilience across NSW, with a focus on the Northern Rivers.
You will drive cross-sector collaboration, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure strong governance frameworks underpin the program.
About the Role- Lead the development of the Northern Rivers Disaster Adaptation Plan, ensuring strategic alignment and stakeholder collaboration within defined scope, timelines, and budget.
- Manage project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and governance, while promoting policy compliance.
- Develop targeted engagement approaches in partnership with regional teams and communications specialists.
- Work closely with technical experts, councils, and agencies to embed data-driven insights and hazard analysis into planning processes.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks and reputational concerns, providing timely guidance and strategic advice to the Director.
