A dynamic and forward-thinking finance leader is sought to spearhead the financial operations of a prominent private property development group. This influential role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy and drive business growth in a highly ambitious organization.

With an impressive pipeline of multi-billion dollar projects, the company is poised for significant expansion, and as Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in navigating this period of rapid change.

The position entails overseeing the entire finance function, ensuring seamless reporting, project accounting, tax compliance, and payroll management. You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing a team of 10+ accountants to achieve exceptional results
  • Oversight of all financial reporting at a group level, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Effective management of group cashflow, optimizing liquidity and minimizing risk
  • Conducting thorough profitability and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and managing budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Serving as the primary finance contact for the Executive Leadership Team and key managers across the business
  • Nurturing relationships with outsourced providers to drive value and efficiency
  • Implementing robust controls and processes to facilitate ongoing growth and compliance

To succeed in this demanding role, you will require:

  • CA/CPA qualifications and a minimum of 15 years' experience at Senior Financial Controller or Head of Finance level
  • Proven track record of managing teams of 5-8+ and driving finance transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in finance systems, Excel, and change management
  • Excellent leadership, business partnering, and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced complex environment
