Grounds Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Management Specialist to join our team as a Senior Horticulturalist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to lead the maintenance and presentation of school grounds and gardens.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage staff performance and maintain accurate records. Strong leadership skills are also essential, as they will be responsible for supervising tasks performed by junior staff members and providing advice and support to senior management.
A passion for horticulture and the outdoors is essential in this role, as the Senior Horticulturalist will work with team members to create and maintain a clean, tidy, safe, and enjoyable outdoor environment for staff, students, and the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and presenting the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean and tidy condition.
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance as requested.
- Coordinating and supervising staff to ensure the efficient completion of gardening and maintenance tasks.
This is a key position within the organization, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the school's grounds and gardens.
