
Payroll Services Specialist

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the provision of dynamic and effective law enforcement services in Australia. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment delivering fortnightly pays to approximately 7,500 appointees using SAP software.
The role involves day-to-day payroll processing, calculating entitlements for staff, interpreting salaries and related entitlements, leave and general conditions of service. Additional responsibilities include undertaking administrative duties associated with the provision of payroll and financial services, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, participating as a constructive team member to deliver ongoing improvements, quality of service and professional practices.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering fortnightly pays to approximately 7,500 appointees using SAP software.
- Calculating entitlements for staff, including commencements and cessations.
- Interpreting and providing advice to staff on salaries and related entitlements, leave and general conditions of service.
- Undertaking administrative duties associated with the provision of payroll and financial services.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You must be an Australian Citizen.
- A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to Payroll, Finance or Human Resources.
