Our client is looking for experienced
**Chris21 Payroll Officer** to start immediately in a well run and organised payroll process based in Canberra You need to be bright, energetic, show great aptitude and a desire to hit the ground running

The position requires someone with full function payroll experience, where they will be responsible for payroll process as part of a team.

**Duties are outlined but not limited to the following**:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer will sit within a team. You will have responsibility of supporting the payroll team administering and processing payroll covering
**High Volume Payroll** on a fortnightly basis.
- Processing fortnightly payroll for up to 500+ employees
- Managing payroll service desk enquirers and incoming calls
- Interpreting relevant awards and multiple enterprise bargaining agreements
- Construct reports and provide payroll/ HR insights
- Managing system issues promptly aligned with company standards and policies
- Support the Payroll Project Manager as needed

**Skills Required**:

- **Chris 21/iChris experience is a MUST**:

- At least **5+ years' end to end** payroll processing experience
- Must have strong Excel Skills - **Pivot Table & V- LOOKUPS**:

- Calculation of payroll tax and superannuation
