Payroll Specialist

The role of the Payroll Specialist is to manage and process payroll-related transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This position requires the ability to learn and adapt quickly, particularly in relation to new policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities:- Transaction Processing: Accurately process salary, leave, and entitlement-related transactions in accordance with relevant legislation, delegations, policies, and procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide internal clients and managers with general advice and guidance in relation to employee-related documentation.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and timely personnel and leave records of employees.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a team performing payroll-related tasks is highly desirable.
- Skill Set: Strong numerical and analytical skills, including an attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines.
