Construction Project Manager: Spearheading Data Center Construction and Fitout

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead our data center construction and fitout project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale Greenfield / Brownfield projects within the Data Centre industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the data center construction and fitout project.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client-side matters, advocating for our needs and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project scope document (PSD) and a detailed project schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact timelines.
  • Maintain a strict budget and track all project expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee all construction and fitout contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Implement a robust QA/QC program to guarantee the project meets all data center industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and updates.

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years' relevant experience in large-scale Greenfield / Brownfield projects in the Data Centre industry (or similar highly serviced asset class) across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Or diploma with 10 years or greater trade experience, with over 5 years in a management position.
