International Programs Manager Job Description

Baptist World Aid/Transform Aid International is a leading international Christian development organisation working in 20 countries. We are seeking an experienced International Programs Manager (Grants) to oversee and expand our grants portfolio, including the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) and other institutional funding streams.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual with a proven background in grants management and partnership coordination, ideally in the international development sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to lead a small team, and have a strong understanding of compliance issues and requirements in the international development sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grants and Partnership Management: Ensure effective coordination of grant-funded projects, partnering with local organisations across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific to meet project goals and achieve sustainable outcomes, while maintaining adherence to compliance and DFAT accreditation standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of International Program Coordinators, supporting their professional development and ensuring excellence in project implementation and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders, represent BWA/TAI at relevant sector events, contribute to ongoing learning, and build networks that support our strategic vision.
  • Strategy and Business Development: Identify and pursue new partnership and project opportunities in alignment with BWA/TAI's priorities, securing resources to expand the reach and impact of our mission.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
