
Senior Business Development Professional

We are seeking an ambitious professional to accelerate growth in the Australian market.
This role requires a hunter mentality, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in selling IT services and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in acquiring new customers, developing trusted relationships, and expanding our presence across mid-market and enterprise clients.
The key responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, shaping tailored solutions with our technical teams, and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, target, and engage prospective clients across enterprise, mid-market, and government sectors.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the client base.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Procurement).
- Understand client challenges and position tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions effectively.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with technical teams to scope and deliver successful solutions.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within IT or Cybersecurity.
- Experience in selling IT Managed Services.
- Good understanding of: Data Protection, MDR, Microsoft, GRC, and Zero Trust.
- Strong network of C-level and senior IT/security contacts.
- Experience selling managed services, MSSP, networking, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
- Results-driven, with a hunter mentality and passion for building new business.
