We are seeking an experienced Clinical Leader to join our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.
">As a Clinical Leader, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical services and support to a team of mental health clinicians. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practices in mental health treatment.
">The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers.
">Key responsibilities include leading a team of mental health professionals in providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote best practices in mental health treatment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination, mentoring and supervising staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge, and staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in mental health.
">Selection criteria include demonstrated high-level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of contemporary mental health practice, understanding of the concept and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery, proven ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make timely, sound clinical decisions while working autonomously, demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership and clinical supervision to mental health clinicians, and ability to communicate effectively and capacity to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families, and carers.
